RCA Nashville Chris Young pays tribute to a close friend he lost several years ago with his emotional new song, “Drowning.”
“When I wrote this song with Corey Crowder and Josh Hoge, we each thought of someone that we lost way too soon,” Chris explained on his socials. “For me, it was one of my best friends, Adam.”
“Missing you comes in waves and tonight I’m drowning,” he added, quoting the lyrics from the song. “This one is for you, brother.”
